Responsibilities

PHYSICIAN CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION EXPERT

 

The Medical Director/Physician Liason will be knowledgeable in Compliant Documentation Management Program (CDMP) documentation strategies, tools, and federal guidelines. He/She will provide clinical support to the CDMP team for resolution of challenging cases, including intervening with physicians when necessary.

Qualifications

Medical Degree.  Medical Doctor with current New York State licensure. Prior experience working for an insurance company or experience in clinical documentation in a health care setting required.
