Responsibilities

The Clinical Resource Manager for Wound Care acts as a resource, role model, and expert to prevent and manage skin breakdown and complex wounds in patients across all hospital floors.   By ensuring that evidence-based care is provided to promote optimal healing, this role includes, but is not limited to conducting wound rounds on all floors, providing specialized care, support, and education to patients and staff.  The Clinical Resource Supervisor for Wound Care formulates policies and educational resources relative to wounds and appropriate management strategies through collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. 

Qualifications

Must have a NYS RN license. Minimum of 2 years of wound care experience in a clinical setting. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required , MSN preferred.  Current Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Certification (CWOCN) required, plus specialized certifications as needed. Master's degree in a related field.
