Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Recruiter is responsible for recruitment and retention of best in class candidates for the Hospital. Responsible for facilitating full lifecycle recruitment process and for partnering with Hiring Managers and candidates, as appropriate, to ensure quality candidate experience and that top candidates progress through the recruiting process. Recruits qualified and diverse candidates for openings and anticipated needs. Utilizes consultative approach for sourcing, assessment, and selection in order to recruit qualified candidates for strategic needs in a cost effective manner. Develops and implements hiring strategies to address ongoing talent needs. Utilizes creative, customized approaches including social media to supplement traditional sourcing methods, maximizing the use of technology and tools. Establishes effective working relationships with colleges, technical schools, and professional organizations to ensure adequate supply of qualified talent. Pre-screens, interviews and manages the interview process in order to present viable, qualified and best in class candidates to hiring managers. Candidate Sourcing: Plans, manages and executes attendance at career fairs, college recruitment events, open houses and other community events to establish presence, strengthen St. John’s employment brand and create fluid, diverse candidate pipeline for open positions. Builds strategic relationships with recruiting partners such as colleges/universities, professional and community organizations.
